In addition to ensuring the quality of the screen, the column-type LED display screen has another very important point that must be considered, that is, the column of the LED display screen. 1. Inspection of the base of the column of the LED display screen
When determining the base of the advertising screen, first check the original drawings and construction materials. If conditions permit, the base must be excavated to find out whether the base form, burial depth, size, etc. are consistent with the drawings, and the strength of the LED display base bolts is sampled. When inspecting the advertising screen with a balanced gravity foundation, pay special attention to whether the foundation soil around the root of the steel column is convex and loose, and whether the soil surface collapses after the foundation vibrates under the action of wind load. If so, it means that the foundation anti-overturning can no longer meet the requirements, and there is a risk of collapse under the action of strong winds at any time, and reinforcement must be carried out immediately.
2. Check the material of the column and the quality of the connection with the foundation
First, the skewness of the steel column of the LED display must be measured. The skewness of the steel column cannot be greater than 1000/H, and it must be measured in two directions;
The second is to check the quality of the steel pipe column of the advertising screen. The appearance quality inspection of steel can be divided into uniformity, presence or absence of interlayer, cracks, non-metallic inclusions and obvious segregation. When there is doubt about the quality of steel, the safety of the structural components should be ensured.
Finally, check whether the steel pipe column is rusted and the quality of the protective coating of the steel structure.
The steel pipe column of the outdoor LED display is generally connected to the foundation by connection or welding. If bolt connection is used, it is necessary to check whether there is a bolt leak phenomenon during inspection, and the bolt cannot be deformed, slipped, loosened, etc.; if there is a design drawing, the specifications and models of the bolts must meet the design requirements; the bolts should be treated with rust prevention, and must be replaced immediately when rust is serious. The bolts should be tightened firmly and reliably; for high-strength bolts, the depth of the bolts must meet the requirements of the specifications.
3. Inspection of the upper steel frame rod system
At present, the following two forms are commonly used for the connection between the steel column and the upper steel frame rod system:
One is T-type, whose main frame is composed of steel columns and upper transverse main beams in a T-shaped fixed connection mode, and the LED display is connected to the T-shaped rigid frame structure through various hangers and diagonal braces.
The other is a space truss type, whose main frame is welded by independent steel columns and several parallel transverse main beams at the top. The main beams are connected by horizontal and diagonal braces to form a space truss system, and the display is directly installed on the main frame.
Since the columns of the outdoor LED display are top-heavy structures, the main structure of the LED display must be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure safety.
